if you check the jp forum, i like how everything over there is like night and morning difference, everyone there is just chill, intead of throwing tantrum and being angry with this change.

the healer forum, they all busy with how to adapt with his new makeover skill, busy discussing the best way to utilize these new change.
one thread on general section is about "giving thanks to yoshi and management" for delivering a great change for the game
tank section is chill
dps section went crazy with mch change and the dancer is already getting "sexy fanart" treatment lol

the only complain i see is everyone want more hairstyle for viera and hrothgar, either these people is really chill or they are complaining but in a very polite way.

I guess we westerners are just to spoiled. I really like the changes for the most part and all of us have to wait for the actual release until we can get out a CONSTRUCTIVE opinion.

everywhere i went (this forum, reddit, youtube comment, gaming forum) all i see now is just complain about every class, change, new future, everything.

the negativity is just overwhelming at this point, and we are not even touching the game yet.

i can understand with the genuine complain on certain class makeover (*cough* AST cards *cough*) but the others?

Complaining is how things get changed. There's nothing wrong with that.

You can be cautious going in, that much I can absolutely agree with, but immediately saying "NO WAY I WON'T PLAY THIS or THEY ABSOLUTELY RUINED IT" without even trying is kinda petty.

If nobody complains then the developers don't know what needs to be adjusted. Complaints are fine as long as they're respectful. On that note please look into adjusting Dark Knight some more Square! There are tons of suggestions in the tank forums on this already

Sorry, but I don't think that this mindset of "please!! don't complain!!" is harmless at all. Of course, in the grand scheme of things, thank god OP's sensitivity is irrelevant. But this mindset of "hey, complaining is bad!!" shouldn't be seen as ok.

Personally I'm fine with people complaining but a lot of people are acting like they know the ShB classes inside out after seeing a few screenshots. And then there's people who cry out as if it's the apocalypse because there is some change. This sort of thing is what I take issue with.

Honestly, most of the salt is coming from the healers. DPS, as far as I could see from videos and posts, are getting a lot of cool things.

Theres a difference between venting a bit, and then working yourself up into a frustrated mess of anger.

Thats why threads like these have to be careful. It can become an echo chamber pretty quickly that reinforces peoples negative emotions and goes from venting to getting worked up and screaming "Tear it all down! How dare they make changes!"

Vent if you must, but have the self awareness that you havent played the game yet the xpac yet, so a lot of expectations are just ultimately assumptions at this point and that you should just be cool till you have concrete playtime on classes.

I remember being really excited for every new Warcraft expansion that came out. But over the years I've been burned by a lot of things. And this last year has been nuts. Diablo Immortal, Fallout 76? Game of Thrones?

When an industry sets the standard for hyping up their player-base and then disappointing them--it's to be expected that people will grow resentful and salty over time. Personally, I try to keep a cynical mellow approach. I'm excited, but I hold my breath. I was super excited for Viera, but then realized their eye brows suck. There's not a single face that lets me have blonde hair and black eyebrows. What the heck! (This option exists in midlanders, cats, and highlanders).
