    More content for smaller groups

    I am one of those that plays quite alot, has a capped job but has yet to try Ifrit lvl 50 or King Moggle fight, I'm a UK player and thee hours I'm on it just feels very difficult to find others to do the 8 Person battles with, most have raid times that start too late for me to join.

    Something I'd like to see is more 4 Person dungeons and battles, these are much easier to gather a party for, I've done Toto Rak loads but its always been a challenge to get in on the 8 person dungeons and bosses.

    Really would like to see some sort of return of the BCNM's, with battles for 2, 4 and 8 people, so there is something for every size of group.

    Also would like to add, lower level bosses are fine too, for lvl 30's and 40's but please they need to be capped fights, Low level Ifrit was no fun as without a job at the perfect level it was just over too quick and effortless to beat it.

    Prepare to be bashed by people that will imply you just asked for the whole game to be made solo-friendly.

    I also hope they add just a little more content for smaller groups. And make it as desirable as the full-party content. They give you things to do now but it's generally "worthless" to most and not very challenging.

    Solo friendly is not what I'm looking for really, just things to do with others that can be done more on the fly rather than via raid schedules, the thing is without smaller group content you end up doing more solo stuff while not doing raids etc.

    There's time for large scale content and plenty of time for smaller group based stuff too.

    Also I agree whats there for smaller groups now is flawed in the challenge department, I used to enjoy doing BCNM30's even when I had a 75 job, they were still challenging and had drops that were worthwhile.

    There just isn't a lot to do in the game period, however, I feel the main issue why people are having a difficult time getting groups for Moogle/Ifrit are because the server populations are very low overall. The merge that they will be updating us on in mid January should help resolve this issue.

    Incase you want to double check.

    Server populations should go up by 5-7x after the merge.

    well what SE is going to plan is that they want to make a search option that makes it possible to team up with players from the other servers (for the instanced dungeons).

    so i dont think that SE is going to reduce the player number for that instanced dungeons.. as a result to that.

    I disagree with the OP completely. I personally fell your asking the wrong question. Your asking the devs to rebuild the game around your inability to build a solid group. That benefits only you and removes the time devs should be investing for the population as a whole.

    What I feel you should be asking for, or concerned about, is for them to change the situation making it difficult for you to find the group you need, not rebuild the game around your inability to form a group.

    One of my sons has no right arm (lost it at the shoulder in a work accident) and I have never once noticed him demanding the world be redesigned for one armed lefty's. He simply looked for items and situations to allow him to adapt to the world.

    What we really need is more content for all types of players, there should be stuff to do if you are solo, duo, light party, full party, and hopefully someday alliances of 16-24 players!

    If there was lots to do, you could choose an activity based on the number of people you could find to play with at that time. You would have something to do duo while you were looking for 2 more members. When you found 2 more you could go do something else.

    I waffle back and forth, on one hand I want content that absolutely requires a full party to complete, but I don't like the idea of someone who can only find a light party standing around bored.

    Hopefully server transfers/merges will help with the population problem...
