I think the design of male viera should be how the devs envision it personally.

Many of us, however, will continue to push for something closer to our own tastes. After all, they're unlikely to be added anytime soon and there is plenty of time for the development team to gather a broader range of feedback to better come up with a concept that will appease a wider audience. I don't expect to see them added to the game until the expansion after Shadowbringers, which would be at least two years away.

Same! I can see them not being used to 'outsider' food and drink and getting a dad bod as a result. I think it would suit them very well and provide a body type not currently represented by the current selection of models.

We're everywhere! And the only Viera I'd be interested in playing would be a bulky, brutal, savage, Conan-esque defender of the homeland male Viera.

It can range from a bit of extra padding to a full on muscle-gut. I tend to favour the latter side of the spectrum - more muscle than fat that way. The guy doesn't have to be old to fit the look.

Conan is exactly how I imagined them when I first began envisioning the mysterious male viera after playing FFXII all those years ago. After reaching the viera village, I wondered if we'd see them later on in the game but it wasn't to be.

I think it's more of a joke really - that is a Male Viera who leaves the wood will soon be overwhelmed by all this food that's so easy to get. WoL/WoD mViera going to be overly suspicious at all this purchasable food - either they'll overeat or go hunker down on the whole 'I must hunt my own food' - making everyone blink when he refuses to eat what the rest of the scions are eating.
