Xeno did say he was able to mention it to Yoshi-P so maybe they will look in to it. But it is far and away the worst tank invuln now.the problem is not being removed, the problem is still we don't have any way to dealt against walking dead by ourself, we complain for pasive and for active how bad is this skill and we give our best feedback and nothing was done for it, no rework, no visual indication, just nothing, i know the toolkit can change but they didn't even mention it.
SE might as well delete it and leave us with one less CD. Dark knights openly admit trying not to use it due to being a hindrance. I have only lived once when I have used it in a pug and that was not bc of healers topping me off, it was bc the boss died before the timer ran out. ShB goal of giving DRK a rework was to make it more fun to play, bringing it up to the level of the other tanks with utility, lower the synergies of other tank jobs to prevent exclusion, and go through the trouble of adding another tank, in part, so there would be no third wheel job in this role then why negate the effort by leaving this as is? This "ultimate ability" is a resource pit with an incredibly niche use bc of its duration. If you want to leave the "high risk high reward" aspect in then why not lower the healing requirement or allow the DRK some method to assist in the healing. Maybe a sole survivor trait to absorb damage dealt as hp or to absorb % damage taken as HP (like dread spikes). There have been numerous threads detailing many different alternatives.
This ability needs to be brought up to match the capability and/or utility of other ultimate abilities. Job identity doesn't mean LD only gets mileage out of niche prolonged tank busters to exclude the vast majority of great content where the other tanks out perform with their ultimate.
I'm not asking for the best and I'm not asking for homogenization. All I want is my healers to not have to face an extra healing check bc they brought the wrong tank. You either force me to not use the ability, stress out the party bc it's a resource dump by comparison to others (bc of the healing req), or its just a reason for you to play another tank and that would be disappointing bc I like most of what I see so far without having had a chance to play it yet. SE, I know you have some creative minds on the dev team. Please make this better.

Well put Danelo. We are wanting something that just makes our healers lives easier. Not something to stress out the party as a massive burst of damage has left us in the spot requiring us to be over healed to stay a live.SE might as well delete it and leave us with one less CD. Just make a macro for when you use it that alerts in the text box. You can even make it make a noise...
You'd be surprised how many players have the chatbox hidden, especially on PS4. Also there are a good number of players that don't really have the situational awareness to pick out a single audio cue mixed in among all the other crazy sound effects going off in combat, and some people actually turn off or down the sound from the game because they are listening to music while playing.
Believe me I've done just what you recommend and it has been far less effective than I had hoped.
I don't think Living Dead is that bad. Of course if you're always comparing yourself to other people/things(whatever) your going to find flaws.
I enjoy the jobs I play for what they are supposed to be and I find ways to make their abilities work. Except for Tri-Bind. Get that shit off your hotbar.
I like the mechanic of it, but for the reason you stated the animation has to be attention grabbing, and make a distinct noise or have some type of alert. You'd be surprised how many players have the chatbox hidden, especially on PS4. I built a macro for my friend an dit has always been acknowledged he used it since he created it. I do get how that could still be missed though. I am not one of those people who play the game that way, I always have my chat visible, and have not turned down any volume.
So treat the ability like Tri-bind and just have the off tank eat all the mega abilities. Not really a good options but seems like it the only options we have.I don't think Living Dead is that bad. The ability is useless against pugs. You are just giving your self 10 extra seconds before they have to rez you. This ability pretty much forces us to stream at our guild mates to heal us now. The biggest problem with this skill. Unlike Warrior or Paladins. Healers do not have to over heal them after they use their ability. Remember over healing is a waste of mp. Which unless they add a passive that allows healers over healing turn into a hot. That is MP they could have used near the end of the fight. Remember .1% wipe now. A reason why giving us an ability that will let healers heal us to like 85% hp and not worry about us dying is nice.I like the mechanic of it, but for the reason you stated the animation has to be attention grabbing, and make a distinct noise or have some type of alert.

Im just screwin around with you. I don't really think my opinion matters since im more of a casual player. Im pretty passive towards every change they make. I make do. But we all have our own thoughts and feelings about things, and I respect that. You make a fair enough point on your post.
