    Sorry but that would only be true if you know, content was actually hard, but it's not. If you enjoy spending 50% of a fight standing around doing nothing waiting for someone to take damage so that you can heal them then all the power to you.

    Hence being okay means not dead. No one is asking you to keep everyone kept at full the entire time, that would be a waste of MP. It's more so to bounce back when when your tank is eating a TB or everyone would die to a raidwide.

    Otherwise it's doing as much DPS as you can between your own offensive actions/support.

    No. Bio turns into Biolysis which is an AMAZING 10 potency increase (heavy /s)

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I mean I feel like getting upset over potency which EVERY video tells you is subject to changes and doesn't mean what you think it means with how scaling has changed. You cant bring the potency into the argument as they are not final.
