I've never once seen this happen.
In fact, the '' worst '' that anyone in the parties that I am in ever get is basically me and all that I do is /pet people and say random things like '' pineapple '' and /throw / clap at the boss lol.

People are either completely silent or friendly in my experience.

NA servers are neither better nor worse than others. The only difference is people get offended more easily than other places. I have played with JP and EU players across a variety of games and they are just as toxic, just not always in the same way. They also know how to laugh or shrug things off. We have a easily offended society here in NA, that is the only real difference.

I don't know how that's possible when everyone claims to have thick skin and just shrug things off. There's more people saying "eh I don't care say whatever you want even if it's a slur as long as it's not at me" than people 'getting offended'. I think it would be more accurate to say people in NA are more prone to arguing and provoking people. Things like memes or the odd harmless joke are fine, but I personally find it hard to laugh or shrug off hateful language or other such things. There's a clear distinct difference. Some people just refuse to see it.

As a raging autist, I reserve the right to call myself and things completely autistic. Getting offended by calling someone or something an autist seems utterly bizarre, cos either you have autism and you're upset for someone saying something you have (???) or you don't have it and you're offended that someone would insinuate that you have it, in which case you probably have derogatory views of autistic people and need to be reported /s

Oh, I agree, there are definitely lines. However you can sneeze in the wrong direction and have someone cry they are offended too. Kind of like the cancer argument here. Saying something is cancer or cancerous goes way back and is commonly used both in and out of games. But that doesn't stop the OP from being offended by it. My dad died of cancer. My dog died of cancer. But its a completely different usage. Still can't stop the offended.

What I find unsurprisingly-ironic about this entire thread is that some of the posters here have inadvertently exposed ( yet again ) the double standards that the PC age projects and that goes double for this original post.

Some people wait to cherry-pick on something to piggyback on and finally display their skewed, biased, overly-opinionated pasts of suffering just to elevate themselves to a higher form of false virtue / moral self-righteousness.

You suffer, I suffer, we all suffer. You lose all forms of righteousness when you do "comparative" suffering, to mask insecurities and the lack of maturity to "accept" that these "derogatory terms" are here to stay. To "use the legitimacy" of a platform to "voice your displeasure" and come off as articulately-polite only to inject your subjective preference of the usage of "morons" screams volumes of your hypocrisy, regardless of how you wish to call it.
