    I don’t see the problem with soloing hunts.
    They’re designed to be hunted.

    It’s nice when a server comes together for them, but that shouldn’t be an expectation.
    I participate in group hunting with Primal, I don’t bother to solo hunt. But I’m never bothered by it.

    They don't need to be reworked because as you said in the same point they were not meant to be a server content. Only reason for this entire outcry about hunts is because of the tiger mount. The mount was made to be a rare mount only for those actively working at hunting these marks. But since a lot think they're entitled to get the mount even without putting any effort into spawning S ranks, you'll see a lot of complaint about how they need to fix hunts. If the mount was removed, I guarantee you that the same people would care less if a hunt was early pulled or not.

    And furthermore, with each expansion there are more S ranks to hunt, so it's not like people will completely miss their chance because ARR and HW ones are dying instantly. They'll just take the same time it took those that were doing it since 2.3.

    Yeah, I'd like to see the system evolve to this step next as well.

    Perhaps implement a Server Tax as well that players can avoid paying by actually going to the server and buying the item from the MB there, similar to how the existing City-State taxes work.

    If the hope with world visit was to allow the markets to even out a bit a server tax might be contrary to that at the moment. I'd actually be curious to see how many people are consistently hopping worlds to buy. I've only done it myself for one or two non craft-able items and the prices there were marginal at best. For standard mats and gear the prices on my home server are fair for the work involved on most items I'm looking for.

    Yeah, my wording wasn't the best, I should probably edit my post to make it clearer. They need to be reworked if they are supposed to be a server content. But since they are not - there is no really technical problem, it's all about community. You can be nice and share, or can just kill with your friends - you have the whole right for it.

    I think the only thing that is require is a timer between use of the Cross-Server functionality to prefer server hoping.

    Something like transfer to different world and you can come back to your home word at anytime, but cannot transfer to another world fort X amount of time. Could be something like 1 hour, or 24 hours.

    I doubt the server hoping to different worlds in matter on minutes was the intended use. I think it was to allow people to go play with friends on another server, so a timer wouldn't affect those people as they are probably transferring and staying on their friend's server for an entire play session.

    Although ultimately a few things will auto-correct itself like the MB, there will most likely be a more consistent pricing between the different worlds.

    The biggest negative from cross-server though is that servers had developed some unique communities and those are mostly negatively affected. Reputations doesn't matter if you can just come to a different server, be an asshole and then go back to your own server.

    Time will tell how good or bad the feature will be, but for now I've seen more negative aspect than good.

    I absolutely love the data center visit system, it allows access to a much wider community and I love being able to play with my friends that are based on other servers without compromising our houses to move.

    The only thing I can agree on the market boards need to be Data Center based but other than that the other points are complete nonsense.

    OP, every single one of your gripes has been expressed on these forums even prior to the world visit system. MB fluctuations, Hunt trains and early pulls, players who don't respect the community, server lag, all of it. I wouldn't even say the world visit system has exacerbated these issues, but rather has become the scapegoat for them.

    The system isn't going away, and actually will likely be expanded upon in the coming moons. I'd get used to it. I'm not saying that the issues you bring up don't exist as they most certainly do, but you're placing the fault erroneously. These issues have always been and always will be a community problem.

    Cross-world was a positive and beneficial addition and I hope they continue to open up the game and introduce more cross-world functionality. Eventually I'd like to see DC-wide marketboards and the ability to interact with EB ceremonies, retainers, etc. while visiting other worlds. In fact, I believe that the final and ideal form of this system should be an infrastructure where "worlds" exist only as open world instances that we can move between with the click of a button from anywhere and at any time.

    I'm sorry that actual competitive marketplace is cutting into your monopoly but just the benefits of friends from different servers being able to play together outweight all of your complaints.

    There exist no valid reasons to go back to gated neighbourhood servers.
