Hunts though, those just need a rework in general. Cross world didnt stop 70's from soloing ARR S ranks.

i totally agree with OP on this one. Wow maplestory, eso and usa's pay to win economy mode have no place in ff14. Sadly people come to the game and bring delusions( being the next rockefeller rothschild and morgans of the in game currency) from their previous mmo experience and make the FF14 trade market a living hell. I'm seeing stuff on the market boards that was 100k pre shb sky rocket to 2-3m gils and im talking MUNDANE items from either tome or random items from dungeons or trash drops. hell i've seen a vendor sword sell on excalibur sell for 10m gils and it was 300k 3 weeks ago.

MB should be for the OG server. At this rate we are going to end up with the wow auction house and that woudl litterally suck

my best example on the cross world market board

lvl 70 rakshasa chest of healing HQ on famfrit, was the lowest. i paid 250k for it, PRE SHADOWBRINGER...
3 days ago..... i checked the same item...1 million freaking gils... i asked around and most of the answers i got were all related on economy skyrocketting and inflation.......yeah.....1 million gils for a chest piece that is weaker than the tome bought gears of the same level. i then asked for a crafter how much he would charge to make the same item.... i ended up with a 130k bill

you can't solo rank S and A anymore as they are called out across the data center via 3rd party programs that are scanning the entire datacenter because it's impossible to have 3 to 7 players calling out a hunt at the same time, having seen S and A rank hunts being called out on an alliance raids on lamia server at xyz location by players from leviathan and ultros...
also when a rank a or s hunt is called it usually last a whole 3 seconds so you can't solo hunts or even world bosses are unreacheable as the "intstance of the map" is usually overcrowded when its called out.

i also get the weird feeling that if peopel keep complaining about overcrowding we will end up with a bigger problem related to servers and data centers....

also from 1.0 to stormblood.... most mmo players were starting to get sick bored of their mmos...come shadowbringer SE managed to empty wow aion eso and a buttload of other mmos as well and soloing stuff right now is a ngihtmare because every servers are overcrowded and 3rd party programs that are scaning the datacenters for world boss S ranks and A ranks( not rare to get into a alliance raid and see a pop up in my alliance and group chat) that are saying a world boss popped up on lamia at xy location by a players on leviathan and ultros. the last time a world boss came up it lasted a whole 3 seconds. because we are overcrowded and i get the realyl weird feeling that something horrible will get asked by the new players that are playing sandbox mmos

As for the other parts of your post, I am confused to heck and don't even understand a word you're trying to say it in. Soling stuff is harder, how? That's all on your connection not the server, I've seen little lag on other servers. And the post you quoted has already said the hunts need a rework.

Sadly, facts trump your opinions. But god I wish it was easier to understand you. Every games expansion always draws in more people, creating a high peak then dropping down little by little again over time, doesn't matter what MMORPG you're playing. And these refugees as you are claiming they are, are actually former players coming back for many of them, so you're looking kinda silly there.

Your speed has nothing to do with the latency between you and the data center you are connecting to, you can find that by doing a traceroute to the IP of said data center. Wish people would quit thinking speed means stability... lol As for prices going up, this happens in EVERY game at EVERY expansion. Called free trade, people wanting to make a buck. If this is your first time experiencing it, welcome to how it is.

What previously netted me 200k-300k every couple of days for a couple of hours work, now gets me less than 70k for the same amount of work. Hard to get materials that previously sold for 100k at least, now tend to be found at 40k or less.

Personally, I'm not bothering to sell anything anymore, why bother if the amount of work I put in isn't properly rewarded? Less than 70k for a couple hours of work isn't rewarding, it's insulting.

I have enough gil that I don't need anymore of it, and I won't need anymore for quite some time. I'm just off the market when it comes to providing the raw materials, which I used to provide quite a lot of.
