Im not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone. Im just going to say that the forums are a very small portion of the actual playerbase and sometimes certain sides can be overwhelmingly vocal about the things that they want. Its probably not always true that the thing being shouted about is actually "wanted by the majority." It very well could be in this case. Im just saying. It may not always be as it seems.

Lmao "most" you mean you? And you ain't the FF14 community.
People who deliberately want to stifle options have no say in the matter.
people do have a say in the matter when it effects them. By "most" i mean the fact that these forums as well as the reddit doesn't even make up for 10% of the entire FF14 player base. This means "most' are content or don't care enough to speak on it.

Nah you don't. If you deliberately want something gone for no reason you can honestly take a hike for all I care.
there are reasons, logical ones. all you have to do is scroll up and I list a few of them. x.x
also, I can't want something gone that never existed in the first place.

Modding communities usually have nothing to do with the development team, even on "supported" games like those on the Steam Workshop. In those cases, the devs agree to let modders "polish" or "create" new content for their game, but it's recognized that it's not official content and they're not getting paid for it (and technically speaking, shouldn't be charging for it, in the case of paid mods, that's technically illegal).
Now I once dated an animator that had a similar idea for animation work and he ran into a lot of the same issues: you get into toruble with the unions, you have to take into account international law, your legal team gets a conniption because of the copyrights law and having to track down every freelancer to sing an NDA...
It'd work better if the XIV team gets an increased budget and manpower...

You're basically asking for unpaid intern work. Which is both hella unfair to the people who would offer their talents and also extremely gross towards the asset developers who worked their asses off to give us what we have now.
We as a community have to help the little guy (SE), obviously.
