Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I wasn't too hugely impressed by either new race, however I will wait until 5.0 is out and we get the final product. The one area where they do seem superior to existing race picks is the textures.

You're going to end up alienating people with this attitude. I'm not hugely impressed by either pick, but when you're setting it up in this way, you're just going to move the conversation into a more defensive stance and get nowhere with it. Not hugely productive if you want mViera, as I do. The point we ought to be making here is that both missing picks could prove popular, as long as SE designs them properly.

First off, that route of thinking is going to get people to wish male viera never become a thing. You're going to lose sympathy and no one will want to support it. Secondly, they're not bad. They actually look great! Is the lack of options a bit of a turn off? Sure, but I have a feeling that this is a rushed benchmark issue and not all options are available in comparison to what will be in the finalized product. Specifically with the "bangs on/off" switch on viera and the Japanese text that was left in the Hrothgar creation. Either way, both races turned out looking amazing and I can't wait to have characters for both. In conclusion, try not to alienate people by saying you should get your thing first when in reality both of the genders in question should be included at the same time.

I know this has been replied to death by now, but no, I want both, and I want SE to do an excellent job on both mViera and fHrothgar.

Also, Hrothgar now seem way better now than they did in their original reveal trailer. Them having hairstyle tied to face is pretty disappointing, but maybe they can change that in the future. I still won't change to one because they just don't fit my desired aesthetic, but I think I will change both my retainers to Hrothgar. Still would like to have the missing genders one day as well.

Yes, playing around with the Benchmark a bit, they're a lot better than the reveal, in both cases. Still some way to go, but I hope both do well in order that they add mViera.

Dear SE, once you implement male viera, please make them similar to the females rather than mountains of muscle and testosterone. Some of us are tired of the "pretty girl, stronk man" trope. Something similar to omega M would be great.

but I do agree with you on the appearance. If male viera do get implemented, I suspect they will be slender in physique.

I really wonder if the dev team is seriously considering the inclusion of male viera in 6.0, 7.0, or just sometime in the future. I'm curious if they're having any discussions about this at all. Of course, they wouldn't tell us even if they were discussing it. One thing is for sure, though; they're aware there's a demand for male viera.

and just skimming through recent posts, I'm seeing discussion on whether it's worth adding female hrothgar at this point since the hair would be locked to the face. I mean, I think female hrothgar should still be included since we have male hrothgars. If possible, I would like to see male viera and female hrothgar included in the game together.

There is zero chance we are getting only male viera unless it's like male viera 5.3 female hrotgar 5.4 which is extremely unlikely, and I honestly would make a lion queen alt if they can actually choose their hair. Also, I'm quite positive SE has decided to implement both missing genders for 6.0,considering the placement of the female icon of the viera race which was a pleasant surprise

well a bit too optimistic... but i‘d love to see them in 6.0!
although imo if they ever will add them, i think we probably have to expect them around 7.0 or later... something about the live letter even gave me the feeling we will never see them
but we won‘t give up, even if we wont get them with 6.0 we will kindly remind them, that we won‘t forget about the males, amirit?!
