You are correct that queueing for MSQ content can take hours. This is a huge problem in the game that hurts new players, but SE can't do much more than they already do to help the situation. Playing during the morning NA/EU time makes this worse.

Deltascape normal is served by Normal Raid roulette, Mentor Roulette and people queueing directly. I think that it shouldn't take too long to get into these, but if it does I suggest joining an FC or recruiting in Party Finder.

Deltascape savage is not normally done by queueing directly on NA datacenters, but by joining a static, recruiting in Party Finder or joining a discord (a lot of people have small raiding discords that you end up in when you're pugging them).

I notice your world is set as Tonberry, which is a JP world. On JP DC I am told they make better use of queueing directly for savage raids. Of course, you'll struggle if you don't tick the box to be paired with the language the majority of the DC uses.

Important to remember is that Deltascape is not a current raid and that people usually focus on the most recent raid. The most current raid is Alphascape. Its raiding tier would normally be over by now, but a new one won't replace it for about 2 months, so there is an activity lull until then which may contribute to making it harder to find people.

You do need to complete Deltascape normal to progress to Sigmascape and Alphascape normal. You do not need to complete Deltascape savage to progress to Sigmascape and Alphascape savage.

I mean there is the Normal Raid Roulette to assist with queues, so something is available already. Having to queue for older Alex (normal) raids in HW and not having this Roulette often resulted in waits twice or thrice as long, so it's an improvement at least.

Normal Raid Roulette does not help you with the Omega raids as very, very few level 70 players queue for this daily (it's simply not worth the hassle).

Catch-up for the older tier is a problem that SE needs to address. I remember FC friends who where trying to unlock Deltascape during the tail-end of Sigmascape. They gave up upon waiting for hours in Duty Finder. Surprisingly few people know the Party Finder or are comfortable using it. And the language setting (which defaults to you client language) is a major issue on the EU data centers. A lot of people were surprised how fast their queues popped after telling them to add *all* languages.

Saying this though I did Normal Raid Roulette the past 6 days and 5/6 of those gave me Omega (at least one from each tier), so clearly it's a valid method to fill queues. Come next expac the raids can be done undersized with a small group of friends (or through PF), so the options in how to do the content is already there, nothing further needed to address.

I finally reached lvl70 and ilvl390 gear.

I already queued hours for the Trials of the MSQ, but literally no one does Deltascape anymore.

FC recruitment asks for experienced raider, which as a new player can't happen as per my previous point.

I have been raiding for 2 years in Rift, from first time playing MMO to main healer in my raid group, I have never experienced such barriers to get into raids.

Well, if you decide to come back: There are many many FCs who don't only look for experienced raiders. There are plenty that are more than willing to accompany newer players to less-than-current raids.

Look into using the Party Finder, state you're a first timer, people will join I guarantee.

As a DPS, I got into Deltascape queues without any real hassle. But I was also playing during prime Saturday hours, in a majority English-speaking data center. Queues weren't any worse than any other content, somewhere around 10-15 minutes maybe. Dunno. Didn't seem like as much trouble as OP suggests. Given OP is here in English Forums from JP data center, I'd also concur that language settings will have a significant impact. But, also don't know the data center; could just as well be less players queuing.

The people I know that using the Normal Raid Roulette are using it to level their <70 chars (even if this isn't the most XP efficient method). I know few level 70 players that run this particular roulette on their 70's char.
And I think you misunderstood my arguments: it's not about running content from old xpacs it's about running content from older tiers for the current xpac. This will happen again once the 2nd or 3rd tier of the ShB raids launches.

The only way you can do Savage/Extreme content is to join a static xD which is pretty much standard in any MMO.

Maybe for doing Savage seriously a static is much better, but you can pug your way through Extreme content quite easily if you want to.
