Can we have a Male Healer and a Female Tank?

I know this will probably get lost amidst the flog of Live Letter "feedback" but I figured I'd try. I was answering someones question about lore, specifically the BLM from the Warriors of Darkness's party, why he's a he and not a she, like Warriors of Light's party, and the promotion material. so this got me thinking about which jobs are represented by which gender. Initial promotional art, not all subsequent art; since the promo art is supposed to represent the "newest" Warrior of Light in the ever growing party of Derplander, Meteor, Bob or whatever his name is, XD.

Male - Tanks (PLD, WAR, DRK), NIN, DRG, SAM, MCH, SMN

I am placing SAM in the male section since, regardless of how androgynous it looks, the features seem to lean more on the male side. Not to mention that RDM is female so it would make more sense, kinda

Female - Healers (WHM, SCH, AST), MNK, BRD, BLM, RDM

As you can see, the listings are diverse, no one gender capitalizes on everything, race aside. But you'll notice that each does capitalize on a role; tanks for male and healers for female.

Now it may seem insignificant, but I would like to see the promo art for the next tank and healer jobs be of the opposite gender of what they have been. Does anyone agree?

TLDR: Artwork for tanks is always male, artwork for healers is always female, would you like to see this reversed for the next tank and healer released?

Umm quick question since when is red mage is stereotyped to be female thing? last time i checked fencing have alwyas been a male sport in human history also rdm characters in FF usually males as well just like how whm usually female in FF

Tanks are pretty neutral none of them are overly masculine

It looks like a fairly generic anime face to me - especially the summoner.

It could just be how that artist tends to draw male faces. Most of the actual faces in that image look quite similar to each other.

I think the samurai is a high lander
He looks a bit more defined compared to SMN and WAR to me at least

For me its more so sake of variety
WHM and AST poses are very sailor moon
And SCH i do enjoy the play style while it is deemed as a "military" like healer you still have selene/EOS there looking at you like "uguuu embrace uwu".

Also be nice if you could glamor the fairy to Carbuncle or a toneberry

I'm not sure I want to be "embraced" by a tonberry. Even the friendly ones here don't seem to let go of their knives.

That's not what is being discussed, this is just a hypothetical about the artwork. There is no history of any kind attached to the question

Basically this. It's not like it keeps me up at night, I've got other things doing that, lol. It was mostly just an observation. And at the time the expansion was being announced and we expected a new tank and healer job so I just thought I'd throw the question out there. I think some people are taking the question a bit too seriously. But granted that seems to be the case with the threads revival and the current Viera/Hrothgar issue more than anything else.
