I understand the motives, and I understand you're not asking me to.
To anyone reading this, I am still unwilling to change the OP.
Over time, people will request changes to the OP whether there is news about viera, people get new ideas, or new live letters come out about the topic.
I remember near the beginning of this thread, the OP wasn't up to a particular person's standards, and they just couldn't go to bed until I changed it to appease them. I was constantly being linked to pictures people wanted me to put in the OP. I did make changes and people seemed satisfied. However, I'm going to try avoiding the same event again.
I do not want to be responsible for making changes every time news comes out or because someone wants me to and I am drawing a line here. Whatever the reasoning may be, I am not changing the OP.

i haven‘t posted since ages in this thread, but im still supporting male vieras, and im still hopefull that the day will sooner or later come when they finally reveal them even tho the live letter didn‘t seem very promising to me!
i don‘t expect them for 6.0 anymore but rather 7.0 - but we still kindly and positively remind them, that we won‘t forget about them, no matter how long it takes!

Wouldn’t it be best to get rid of the concept with the child since they already confirmed children won’t happen? Basing on how they are described (in my opinion) they aren’t going to be small and I think it would be better if that image was removed.

There are lots of people in agreement with you but at the end of the day it isn't our post.

SE has been clear at least so hopefully the awareness of that will help people be able to put aside their aversion to some of that concept art.

Are the Feol not just a hybrid race? I'm not too familiar with their lore and when I looked it up it didn't bring up any size differences relative to full blooded Viera, other than the ears.

Yes. Their father race is the Aegyl and their mother race are the Viera. While it's hard to tell in a game where they're just pixels, it's safe to say they are most likely the same size as pure-blood Viera (who exiled them. Feol live in a volcano). They're more Hume in appearance than pure-blood Viera (likely from their fathers side, who are pretty much just Hume with wings) and have shorter ears (probably comparable to Miqo'te ears).

If you can change ear size for Viera, chances are people can make a faux Feol. XIV lore states they look similar to Hyur and Elezen, so that step is already done for people who want to make a Feol.

Edit: do not believe in the picture with Fran and a Feol Viera side-by-side with lore next to them. That's just fan-made lore.

It’s official art, just of a body type they will never add. There was never any implication adult Viera would look that way, anyway.

I agree, I honestly also never saw this as something we might get but simply how the children of the race could look like.

In the end people could already RP as children by playing Lalafells. No matter how often SE says that they are adult, it does not change the fact that any Lala children we had seen look exactly like the adults. But seemingly that is no problem at all.

Anyways: SE I wanna look at beautiful bunny bois while I go around as a great looking Hrotgar female!

I would love for there to be a Male Viera. I would play a Male Viera and I would prefer it over every other race. However, I highly doubt they'll add it as an option all together. Even if a majority of people want it and that's fine. It sucks to genderlock races. I dont think anybody likes genderlocking in video games.
Despite this, though, Not being a Viera wont hurt anybody of course. But I am always down for more additions and more classes/races to play. although playing as a bunny boy was something I was excited about when they first announced Viera were coming to the game.

I guess I'll stick to playing my cat boys.

Dont loose your hope so quickly ^^ Until they say its a NO you can be sure there is a chance we'll see them sometime ^^

I'm honestly really curious as to how they will do female hrotgar. I would personally like them being like charr, so like the males, but perhaps a few different features, different hairstyles, and maybe a bit smaller. I reeeeeeeeeally hope they don't present us with female miqote part 3

Depends on how closely they follow the original Ronso design. They're not nearly as large as the males, however an adapted Roegadame build would work well for them.
