Please make this a Viera male face.
Please make this a Viera male face.

Not to spam posts but I didnt see this till after I posted my first one. Yes I would like any race option that was better proportioned than the Elezen, the reason so many of us are wanting Viera specifically is because its a race in the FF world that already fits this desire. There was also a lot of hope for it when we saw that Fran was in the game, but I am willing to admit that our hoping for something doesn't mean the Dev team made a promise of some kind. I am also not angered or upset as much as I just feel disappointed. I was really hoping to change into something other than Hyur but of the options available to me its still whats best for me, which is kind of like a best of the worst kind of thing. I am also not looking forward to being surrounded by thousands upon thousands of Viera women this entire expansion.Do some of you guys even really want Viera males then so vehemently? If you really just want a tall, slender, human like race, or option? I think you would probably settle for anything Viera or not that was just well proportioned in that style, or am I wrong?
I feel like some of you are just piggybacking off Viera, as your last chance to get an 'attractive', 'elegant' male.
Well, Raen and Xaela men have three masculine looking faces and one that just looks creepy to me.
I suspect Viera men will have at least one strong looking face, hopefully more than just one.

Getting grilled and psychoanalyzed by strangers on a public forum because you want a character model in a video game.

It's a problem that no amount of people or money can fix so they claim.
I'm not being aggressive. Just stern.
There will be no more edits made to the OP.
At one point I was willing to, but I got too many requests.
The OP shows various concept art for viera, and some fan art. We all have our preferences and have given feedback, but that doesn't necessarily mean the devs will refer to this thread if they design male viera. It seems Yoshi P and dev team, if they are ever up to the task, have their own ideas. If they do implement male viera, we should respect their design choice.
I am of the belief that if male viera do happen, they will match the female models - they will use an elezen base and they will look handsome, slender, and elegant. The hummingway-esque model is just not going to happen.
Eh, text doesn't convey tone but you had a couple pretty snippy posts there specifically aimed at Theodoric. I know because I too am somewhat of a sassy person on the internet. It's fine, I'm not faulting you for it (stones, glass houses) but they were definitely far from cordial.
I'm happy you're good with the accepted idea of what the male Viera model would ideally look like now, the more people on board the better! I think that's kind of the mentality people have when they're asking you about editing your initial post - it could help get some people on board who see it who might otherwise not be willing to toss their like on there.
Make no mistake about it the number of likes on that first post is what got this the attention that it recieved (and deserved) and personally I think distancing this thread from the people requesting childlike models (which is clearly a touchy subject for the community as a whole) could be a way to appeal to a broader audience.
I don't think anyone is asking you to change it because they think SE is going to reference some random post on the English forums no less if they go to design male Viera, I'd wager more people who think that way are coming from a place of just wanting the most support possible for the idea.
To be perfectly clear - this is not me asking you to change it I just think maybe you've misunderstood some of the motives behind those requests and wanted to clarify.
