Or you could use the echo on players and see the epic things they did pre-2.0 watch snipits of us killing ifrit, moogle, garuda halmlet defence, just make it look awesome and all the new players think "dammmnnn why did I have to quit after the first month. How cool would it be in 2.0 if that nifty echo ability was used by new players to travel back in time to a hamlet defence battle that we - the current players - are going to experience or something else like that, maybe even being placed in a recorded situation of a RL players taking part in some form of (epic) battle, as that way, the new players are not actively taking part in the pre-story, but they can see what we went through.
Haha! We could totally have them fooled into thinking this game used to be good! Excellent idea! +1'd

That would be neat, being able to use the echo on other players (and ourselves) to rewatch the things they've or we've done in the past.
Especially if we could see our character standing off to the side watching themselves go through a cutscene. And then, if someone echoed us while we were echoing ourselves...

Please keep on going, I'm listening.
Anyway, I'm highly supporting Delsus' idea, and hope for the Dev team to work on it in a distant future =)

This is exactly what I meant, I just didn't word it as well you did, partly because I had just woken up, and partly because I r dumb.
