Would you rather have had Male Viera or Hrothgar?

I, for one, would not like to see Eorzea fall under influence of the beastmen. When Ilsabard sends its people, they're not sending their best.

Given the choice i would have preferred Male Viera. However in a hypothetical situation where i did not know either were being added, i would prefer they added 1 full race over 2 half races.

This mirrors my opinion. Just add the whole race or don't bother. Viera are preferable to Hrothgar.

Hrothgar. Everything I've seen of them thus far is just freaking cool. They are the first playable Beast like race that isn't just a human with animal ears & tail.

Definitely Hrothgar. I like how they look. The aesthetics remind me of Leo from Warzard/Red Earth. I'm glad SE decided to create this race instead of including male Viera.

I dont mind we getting Female Viera and Male Hrothgar this expansion. Probably next expansion we will get the other genders. Just please be patient and let this subject die.
Yoshida and devs has pretty clearly shown they do listen to people, but cannot get everything we want all at once.
I know that making a new 3D model takes a long time, I have had one SFM model made of my own highlander and that took about 2 months and 700$ to make by a team of 3 people.

I would love to see the people complaining saying that the devs took the "easy" way out blaming time constraints to work anywhere as much and hard as im sure the developers do. I only work 8 hour days, 5 days a week with tyrefitting and car detailing and I am beat after a hard days work. And Ive heard japanese work 12-14hour days, 7 days a week.

So again, yeah sure it does suck they could not get to please everyone. Just please stop making threads about this. They already know, and this pretty much will pester them like kids in the backseat on a long trip - Are We There Yet Are We There Yet Are We There Yet Are We There Yet Are We There Yet?

interestingly, the thread i posted on the japanese forums was deleted. however i still have the poll. out of 89 votes, 75% preferred hrothgar and 25% preferred male viera. one the posts i saw in the thread, they wondered why they were adding races from ff10 and ff12.
