However, there is nothing to say a necromancer could not revive someone who fell recently before their souls passed into the Lifestream, in the same manner as a white mage.
Similarly, D&D classifies resurrection magic as a form of necromancy, and even WoW gives their necromantic class the ability to raise fallen allies from the dead.
That's why it's called KO and not Dead.
