Suck it up I guess.
Because reporting people for doing squats, push-ups or dancing on your dead body is beyond petty.
I'm not sure about anybody else but I find it funny, and their death is only even sweeter when when I kill them back and return that BM.
So sexual harassment is considered petty, got it
LOL ok, got me, you were offering it for free prior XD
You can't apply "real world" logic to every scenario. A major part of competitive modes has always been Psychological Warfare.
As others have already pointed out, disrespecting your opponent is often utilized as a tool in these modes. An agitated opponent is more likely to make further mistakes that can be exploited for more kills that will contribute to a win.
I mean, look at it from this perspective, that's 25 seconds in which they weren't doing anything that actually contributed to earning points for their team. That time investment only pays off if it throws you off your game and causes you to make further mistakes. If you laugh it off, recompose and focus on contributing to your team's win then their gesture has no meaning whatsoever.
After, I re-spawned, didn't really recompose, but did get back with my party, and did take him down or at least I think it's him, cause he was also a DRK. There's other taunt, and other method of getting people irritated, but he choose squat/teabagging. Why are those emotes even allow in PvP? When does someone uses squat to tell their party to squat? Sit or kneel? Those aren't needed. So, what purpose does squat have? People requested squat, so that they can be use for RP, yet it's being misused in PvP.You can't apply "real world" logic to every scenario. An emote is being used to effectively irritate you and throw you off your game bottomline. If it wasn't squat it would be something else. Sit, slap, pet, hug, sulk (which often has a short punting animation at the start), whatever. After, I re-spawned, didn't really recompose, but did get back with my party, and did take him down or at least I think it's him, cause he was also a DRK. Taken to it's logical conclusion in order to "solve" this issue they'd have to remove all emotes.
So what then? Well, ppl would literally spam jump on your dead body for 25 seconds.
So the only thing that can really protect everyone from unpleasant experiences in PvP would be to remove the mode entirely.
(Or you know, getting better at the mode and not allowing yourself to get killed as much butwhohastimeforthatamirite?)
What's considered to be good at PvP? Not dying at all? If that was the case, why PvP since no one will die. If number of death counts as you being bad then I have 0 death on occasion. Am I good then or bad?An emote is being used to effectively irritate you and throw you off your game bottomline. If it wasn't squat it would be something else. In any case Thank you for trying to reason and the constructive conversation. Though, I will take the suggestion from the very first post about reporting, and will do so. Call me petty, or whatever...
Oh, and have a good night
All they need to do is make it so can't use any emotes during pvp matches. I don't do pvp anymore because finding to many hackers in it. Like seeing a dragoon one hit tanks and kill them at full health or see person on mount getting hit and no heavy applied to them.
Petty
Glad to be of service
