Additionally: Not being able to customize your character the way you want to (such a thing leaving a sour taste in many people's mouths and often a "straw that broke the camel's back") is a totally valid reason for someone to either not buy the expansion or let their subscription lapse. Hell, someone could unsubscribe because they're fed up that there are never any good-looking berets and let's be real there aren't, it doesn't mean that they didn't enjoy the game, it means that something irritated them enough to decide they needed time away from it.

Honestly not sure if I am being negative here but it seems that they won't add it anytime soon.
Although would not play any of the requested counterparts for both races would love if they did include both for those who wish to play it.

Never say never, but if it'll happen it's so far into the future it doesn't really matter right now.

I figured based on the use of "condolences".

As much as I like to appreciate optimism in others I can't help but feel this is misplaced. I know I'm not going to talk you out of it and I'm not going to try but I just hope you understand that at the very least there is a real possibility that they'll never add them to this game.

For what it's worth I think you've approched this all really rationally and you're one of the people who convinced me to not actively oppose their implementation. If they ever do add them (especially now that I can rest easy knowing they won't be child-like models) you're someone I'll be happy for.

Guys, some of you seem very sad by the live letter thing, but the answer we got is amazing! It means they are listening and it will most likely take them time (6.0 probs) until they can release them, which is totally fine ^^ I mean, this was probably more than what I was expecting. They have said they're trying to make them, which most likely means that they will figure something out with their gear for 6.0

I don't mind that at all. I just wish that that the answer was more clear and less... vaguely negative fortune cookie sounding. (Like "you may find a hole in an unusual place" or "growth experiences are on the horizon") It leaves me with a kind of somber feeling, particularly since people like to gloat about perceived deconfirmations for whatever reason.

I mean, it's pretty much what I expected: a vague non-answer that can be taken either way. "We're not doing it because it's too much work in the long run" (honestly, I'd sacrifice Diadem 4.0 for m!Viera/F!Hroth), or "We'd like to do it when we have time and resources." It's not saying never but also not promising anything, which is really a lot of corporate speak to weasel out of whatever.
