I would so be down with the culling of aetherflow and turning the "trance" phases into primal phases, going between ifrit, garuda, and titan, each having unique models and abilities, ending with bahamut as the finisher and starting again
for soloing purposes just make them all share threat, since most o the dmg you do would be the pet in this case it shouldn't be hard to keep threat on the pet while soloing

This is pretty much my idea of smn as well. Plus when you end the trance successfully, each summon leaves it's stylized debuff (burn dot from ifrit, slow dot from titan, etc)
