New BLM spells in 5.0 Speculation

So. Do they go up to Fire 5 and Blizzard 5? I'm thinking that since the LB3 is Meteor BLM will either get Comet or Ultima at some point... maybe both... I see Ultima as a "This is the end of the game expansion spell" tho so... My money's on Comet.

Also I kinda wish they would rename the Fire and Blizzard spells. I think Fire 2 should be Fira, thus making Fire 3 > Fire 2 and Fire 4 > Fire 3. same for Blizzard. Thunder should get the same treatment where the AoE moves are the -ara and -aga versions while the single target ones are just 1 and 2.

Also Freeze is supposed to be an Ancient magic like Flare so I kinda wish it was a better spell to use... like maybe make Blizzard 2 a target AoE instead of a AoE centered around you that combo's into Freeze?

OH and just had a thought, since we are becoming the Warrior's of Darkness do you think there is a chance we get the spells Demi or Dark?

I always thought that caster LB2 was Comet... I could be wrong though.

Edit: I was actually thinking of the appearance of Meteor in FF8. Starstorm reminds me of that. My mistake!

Yeah it's called Starstorm, it's more like a rain of comets than a single one which is what I imagine they were thinking. Although that's where LB3 comes in to it with BLM's Meteor...

I don't know... I wondering if we'll actually go back to having a rotation. Right now, it's all about how many times we can push Fire IV while moving around and not losing Enochian and replenishing mana.
