Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

It's also possible that something was lost in translation or that it could change at some point during the development cycle. As Lauront's poll revealed, there's plenty of appetite for tall and well-built Viera men. That could very well sway the development team between the present day and the actual implementation. Assuming they're even added to begin with, of course.

The issue is that different people understand "well-built" in different way. Somebody will think about Highlander body type (who are actually bulky), somebody will think about Miqo'te body type (who are noticeably athletic).

I don't think a poll or player requests for a certain body type would sway the dev team to do anything. Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's likely. Yoshida already has a vision for what male viera would look like. It seems like if male viera were to ever be implemented, the devs already have a general idea for their appearance. It will probably be a fitting counterpart to the females.

Like I already said, I'm not just saying this because of my own preferences. It's literally what Yoshida has said, and it's shown in the concept art. At the very least, I can point to things that have been said by the producer himself, or even the concept art. Even if there's a chance things can change in development, it's better than having nothing to point at. Going off solely what has been said by Yoshida and the concept art, male viera will most likely be slim in build.

I do support having a variety of face options and muscle sliders. However, I have this to say to the people who want buff viera; I honestly don't think it's going to happen for you. At the very least, not with the information we have been given at this current point in time.

Agreed. If they came out with male Viera, I think they would come out with something on the feminine side. That's how I picture them at least, not something I am interested in, but I see countless miqo'te males with their shirts off everywhere, so there has to be a demand.

I find it extremely amusing on how u ppl are like 'But male viera is only for ERP!'
Then u must be extremely mad about female viera.
I also recommend u not to search Hrotgar on google when they are released unless you want 90% of the pages to be for either ERP or erotic manga about male hrotgar

If there ever will be a "children look" race, at least both genders should look like this, not one. But I highly doubt it ever will be a thing really. Though I would like to play as Padjali, for example, it can be very interesting storywise (mostly from RP side "why did a Padjal left the forest").

Well... there is a "specific group" for every race. Female Vieras and male Hroths will have their "group" as well, and I bet we will see some disgusting mods and specific content in IG/Discords just in the first week of 5.0 release.

Though when it's about children look race then it's connected with actual, real life law already, so I think we will never get this kind of look for playable characters in this game. At least there are young looking face options for those who wants to make their chars look in their 17-18.

Will be children looking beast race a good look, though? We have Lalas, but they are quite special niche (and still lala players have some reputation). Remembering Lin race from Tera (or how their name is correctly written) makes me feel weird, for example, but I don't have same level of rejection for Lalafells here and find them actually cute for playing (their voices, tho..).
