add Random stat rolls to in game drops

If you're not having enough fun in Eureka, go do Diadem. Aetherial gear has randomized stats and there's all kinds of aetherial gear in there. It even has randomized appearances!

On a more serious note, WoW does high-end randomized gear stats with titanforging, and most people I've seen talk about it hate it.

It's pretty much the biggest reason why I am playing FFXIV more these days. RNG exists in all things.... does a thing drop or not drop... and that is fine, but when you start adding more layers to it... did it drop... does it have this stat.... does it have that stat, it becomes an absolutely abysmal situation imho.

And as for crafted stuff the OP mentioned... spending inordinate amounts of gil and/or time to craft something that is useless to me/has a low sell value because RNG decided we weren't friends? Nope nope nope.
