Skipping cutscenes in MSQ Roulette

Yet the queues there aren't that terrible, aren't they? If you want to prove something, do it. Don't just make your opinions seem fact, without any actual data to prove anything.

I actually helped a few sprouts with giving them faster queue as a tank (they where DPS and +1 hour in queu). Yes DPS queues have always been bad but MSQ roulette has been even worse after the change most of the time, many people are not running it anymore and many people with the crown (including myself, mostly because I do not wish to associate myself with quite some mentors in this game) wish to hide that crown and do not want to use mentor roulette.

I even queues a few times as DPS during nighttime in the EU for this roulette and had been in the queue of longer then 5 hours when I eventually closed my PC and went to bed.

This is unacceptable on SE's part, even more knowing they always like to say that they have 14 million players which most of that numbers are bots and people that no longer play but for some reason they forget to mention that.
removing this MSQ for requirement to progress into game or make it solo-able would been acceptable changes. But alas they have to push more people into buying story skip pots in the mog station for more cash I guess.

All this thread has done is show how much the mentor system needs to go, and have the mount and crown deleted. Absolutely disgusting. You CHOSE to be a mentor, smart one. You knew what you were signing up for. Dear lord. Mentors guide new people. Apparently, you lot need to learn the meaning of the word.

That's exactly what mentors do, and why they're not needed in Praetorium/castrum. Call us when a bot couldn't fill the slot.

I like running MSQ to help out still. I see some interesting conversations, catch up on some shows, or literally make food lol.

I just remember running MSQ Pra for the first time a couple of a couple of months after 2.0 launch and missed out on the fights. As soon as the cutscene was done and I try to catch up, the next cut scene was up, and so on. it sucked. I remember one run in Pra where a new person asked if they could slow down so they can watch the cut scenes, poor person got yelled at. So yea MSQ Roulette is just that, a way to help run it. You need Poetics, go run CoB unsynced with a new person. cut scenes are skip-able and you get the bonuses still for unsynced and way more poetics than MSQ roulette.

Wow. The attitudes of the mentors in this thread. You ARE misusing Mentor and the roulette, especially since it forces your crown on. You're expected to help in ANY duty it gives you, even if that help is just to occupy a slot, and finish it. Stow the selfish entitled attitude, or stop using the Mentor Roulette, as you've missed the point entirely. You're not good mentors, you're not even good people.

please elaborate on that. if you normal queue for this duty and you happen to have the mentor crown unlocked, but not displayed on the status, does this duty force it out (even thou not displayed,for the duration of the duty it is displayed?)? or is it just a mentor roulette thing?i haven't notice it displaying mine..

It only forces your crown on if you pull this out of mentor roulette.

You are not forced to do MSQ roulettes. There's other more efficient ways to get the same rewards,

What rewards? (I've never run a roulette because there's no way to prepare for whatever dungeon comes up).. There's no gear to be had for a level 70 in the early dungeons, unless it's just for glamour items..
