Nah, the biggest fear is that bots monopolising one server with botted low prices will now monopolise all servers on the data centre
Ordinary people gathering and crafting mats cannot compete with robots that never eat or sleep.
So.. what.. stopped the bots from being on any server before?
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
Usually they weren't on every server, and the ones that were targeted certain areas you could avoid, which could differ from server to server. Crafter players sometimes transferred so they wouldn't have to compete with certain problem bots.
Now bots will affect all servers, and in more areas.
Another thing that's annoying being a crafter is now when I want to sell something, I have to check prices of all servers, not just my own, so there's a bit of annoying world teleporting I have to do now :< I have already d/c'd a few times in limsa due to the player influx.
Also, who is going to buy things from smaller servers anymore? People will just go to the largest servers by default because they would expect prices to be cheaper there already.

I honestly don't see any reason it'd be any worse. Same number of bots. Either they'll spread out and everyone gets a dose, keeping low level mats and crafts low priced.. or they'll still concentrate and the problem hasn't changed.Usually they weren't on every server, and the ones that were targeted certain areas you could avoid, which could differ from server to server. Okay, let me give you an example because you don't seem to be getting it.
On one server, there's a bot that specialises in selling endgame gear dirt cheap, with very little profit. People could just transfer to other servers to avoid it.
Some bots could specialise in selling potions for dirt cheap, with very little profit.
Bots in certain areas and servers didn't affect servers without those specific bots.
Now. They. Do.
All servers, all endgame crafting areas. Money is now being fed to the bots from all servers, funding RWT activities. Ordinary people cannot compete.
And this means that new crafters, just entering the scene are the worst off.
They have to compete with all bots, whilst the other, older crafters have their large cashpile from when they didn't have to compete so much, can watch as everything falls in price, making their cashpile more valuable.
Bots win.
Everyone else thinks they win because of Lower prices, but they'll never have the cash piles the older crafters, or the bots have.
But the materials will be cheaper anyway. So they'll be able to level their crafting just as quickly for far less investment. unless your goal is amassing Gil, this isn't a detriment to new crafters.Okay, let me give you an example because you don't seem to be getting it.

You know what won't be cheaper though? Rare drops. It just got a lot harder to get them for yourself, as their prices stay stable, but now it's hard to make the money for them now.
For example, Night Pegasus whistles. I checked all servers on my data centre, and they are all around the same price. Gonna be harder to make money to buy one of those now :P
