Sorry but I just saw your reply and the invite has expired. I promise I won't miss the next one!
Yeah, someone generate a new invite link please. I'd like to join as well. ~
Agreed. That invite would be nice to have as well. :3

Here you guys go![]()

Hmm. I am really considering this. I just get so nervous and anxious when it comes to these things. I won't even join my FCs discord because I prefer to keep them all at arm's length. They tell me, "You won't have to be logged into game to chat with us." and I'm over here all, "and that's exactly the way I like it." I don't like it when people I've never met try to get closer to me. But because I don't talk to anyone here in-game on a regular basis, and because this community will have people who understand this, I might be more comfortable joining.

There's no automated announcement of joining or leaving in the discord. You'll be able to join quietly and just listen to the conversation until you feel comfortable talking. Nobody will pressure you or call you out for it. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask, everyone there wants to help those who ask for it. Or if you just want to rant to a friendly audience, they'll do that for you too.
And if you have questions feel free to DM the mods/admin, they'll answer any questions you have. In all, they're a friendly bunch.

I agree completely with your statement. It might be easier to think of this as a support group, though, which is as equally important to professional help. It's one thing to talk to a professional regularly (I do), but it's another to speak to someone who's going through the same stuff you are, or has been through it and come out; there's no teacher like experience. When you live with mental health issues, "normalising" as you put it, is super important. Normalising in the sense that what you feel, how you feel, isn't something you're alone in, and the challenges you face are dealt with by people *like* you (so I can do it too, gosh darnit!!), rather than "just the healthy folk".While the thought isnt bad, I doubt clustering people with anxiety/depression will do anything other than normalise or aggravate the problems. I'd recommend to anyone who believes to be suffering from those ailments to seek professional help immediately.
Depression isnt a fashion statement, its a mental sickness that is cureable.

Literally how I feel, too! I love the idea and the concept of this discord, but my arm's pretty long! ;.;Hmm. I am really considering this. Not announcing my joining was intentional? I was wondering where that alert was. There's no automated announcement of joining or leaving in the discord.
