Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Can we all go back to actually supporting male viera we all already know the lore excuse was bs, then they changed it to not having money. We also still haven’t had a response so when will that happen? The faster they actually do something the faster people will be satisfied. They ignore emails and any type of message you send to them about male viera, do they even look at the forums? I’ve already lost so much hope and trust. Male viera is all I’ve ever wanted, basically day one. I loved ff12 and when I saw there was male miqote I got excited that there could be males and then when I saw the concept I never dropped it and always wanted them. When they were being released I talked about it everyday and then to find out it was female only it destroyed me. I don’t think I will ever get my hopes up again for this game. They destroyed my hope for male viera so many times with these fanfest, all the teasing and “wait what’s happening next” moments, especially with that movie.... on top of all of that I got so much drama in my fc because they didn’t like my opinions and didn’t care about it, was attacked by most of them (including the leader) so I left. This gender lock was caused me nothing but sadness and drama. I really hope it changes soon, I don’t want to wait longer than a year. We already waited long enough.

This is a megathread though. Let people discuss if they feel the need for it. Discussion is a got move to improve our current state. Just because people dont agree with you, doesnt mean its something bad. Take the chance to convince them. But dont get overemotional about a race that you wish to be playable in a MMORPG.
Lets appreciate for the things we got so far. People been asking and requesting for a lot of things the past years, for example NieR: Automata raid and FFXV crossover event.

He never said he didn't appreciate what we got so far, but if we are going to go down the path of 'Hey since its new content i dont care how it is. Thank you SE for giving something nobody asked for!' we will end up letting the devs think they can just do whatever and end up like WoW. Also for some people it is a big deal, specially after having waited for years upon years to see them only for them to be neglected due to (probably) the personal bias of the devs (lets face it, there is no way in hell SE really released Hrotgar for any other reason since they aren't stupid and they know that Hrotgar just won't sell any fantasias at all)

Same here. I think they are trying to let this die down but it's just not gonna happen, and at launch it will get even worse, with many new players complaining too. I think they'll eventually give up at trying to play this shady game and will give us an answer.

Or maybe they're busy working on finishing up the rest of 5.0, since there's more to this upcoming expansion than races? The idea that you people think this is such a pertinent issue that SE has to absolutely positively address it with the utmost urgency is ridiculous. At best they may say something about it at their next Q&A, and even then I wouldn't expect anything more than a non-committal response ("we're taking feedback into consideration, please have patience with us" etc.)

The idea that you people think this is such a pertinent issue that SE has to absolutely positively address it with the utmost urgency is ridiculous. At best they may say something about it at their next Q&A, and even then I wouldn't expect anything more than a non-committal response ("we're taking feedback into consideration, please have patience with us" etc.)

Its a new expansion and I expect more than just a new shiny race. I am not paying full price for a game to be happy or unhappy about genders. I am also hoping for opposite genders but what you are talking about is more like "demanding" than asking them to be added.
But still this expansion got a lot of new themes and additions to its theme park and I just want people to be excited for it as well.
And WoW certainly didnt fail because of a race/genders.

Ok I love it how people keep saying how people who want male viera are aggressive but at least I dont go to all the threads of people asking for something different and telling them that they can't get what they're asking for since SE is doing other things in the most rude manner possible
