Allow chocobos in cities?

We should just be able to purchase a rickshaw off of the Mog Station that we can ride in the cities. Kidding, kidding... While I'm 100% okay not having mounts in the cities (especially during high volume events), it would be a nice touch to be able to remain mounted when speaking to NPCs outside of the main cities.

I'm fine without mounts in cities. It was a nightmare in places that really needed them in WoW ... nothing like an NPC or mailbox hidden by 20 people in Mammoth mounts.

If you're that concerned, level an Archer to level 20 and get Peloton - a 30 second sprint with a 5 second cooldown. Then you can change into Archer gear, cast Peloton, and run like crazy to your in-city destination.

Or do what I do -- use Aetherytes and Sprint to get around the city.

Or they could just reduce Sprint cooldown to 0 while in a city.

There was a pair of shoes that gives infinite sprint in cities, but for whatever reason it was a preorder/delux edition of (I think) 1.0. I sometimes wonder why not make something similar, but make a new model (or models for appearance options) so people who have it don't go ballistic again. (like the White Ravens incident)

Chocobo could be mounted in v1 at the very end, when monsters could spawn in cities (I think it was, don't remember well).

So I'd guess if there is no monster there is no chocobo?

Dunno about those shoes especially as sprint didn't exit in v1.
However there are some shoes from eureka that gives longer sprint in cities.

They did exist! They didn’t affect sprint like they did I. 2.0 but they had a movement speed increase in city-states that was on a cd similar, iirc an obscenely long one. Up until the change to sprint to be a flat 20s and not consume TP they allowed for infinite sprinting in them.

Is rather that they merge the cities into one zone each instead of separate ones. Gridania and Limsa would be easy. Uldah a bit more tricky but not that much.
