    I really rather have something original.

    Throwbacks and Nostalgia is nice and all but for every 8man Raid we have no original final bosses.

    ARR was Bahamut
    HW was Alexander
    SB was Omega along with Kefka and Exdeath.

    Yeah but both Bahamut and Alexander ARE part of the Final Fantasy universe as a whole. Omega appeared in many titles as well, but it was the most obvious fanservice (Which I'm okay with). The originality comes from how they adapt this nostalgic content to XIV's lore. Also, realistically, it's a Final Fantasy game. Many of us have played many of these titles and we love to see past FF characters/places/bosses re-imagined here.
