I sort of feel like the males if implemented won't have heels, but if they did probably something like this? but still with flat feet.

I think if we get male viera at all their racial gear will be a lot more tame than the females most likely.

Do you guys think that doing some type of organized thing in-game could help generate awareness? Like wearing "Bunny Crown" (from Gold Saucer) on male units and something like a "Lionliege Armet" (Paladin Lv50)on female units, meeting in one location, and taking a screenshot to post? That way they could see active players that really want this feature?

I don't know, but another good way is to ask your in-game friends and fc/ls members to register to the forums and leave a like on the first post. That is, if they want male viera implemented into the game. Spreading this thread out to others, including on social media, is probably the best way to show your support. The number of likes is something concrete SE can look at.

I'm sure they're well aware that people want this added. It baffles me how this post is still going. I'm going to say the same thing I said on another post of the same topic: continuing to bring this up and argue about it isn't going to make it happen any faster, if at all. You've made your points, move on. You aren't going to change anyone's mind who's for or against it.

Yotsuyu's fate and the story that led her there absolutely broke my heart, and will probably be a sore point for me for a long time, but I fail to see how that has anything to do with wanting male Viera added into the game?

So I had to dig back a little to find where you explained this, and I'm still kinda lost as to what you feel the connection between Yotsuyu and Viera/Hrothgar is. You say that people 'lack empathy' for Yotsuyu, but what specifically is giving you the impression that people don't sympathize with her plight?

Are you trying to imply that if people were 'truly concerned about gender issues', they would instead be protesting the game's handling of Yotsuyu instead of 'wasting our time' on complaining about something 'less serious' like including both genders of the new races? Because that's the only thing I can come up with that makes sense of your attempt to clarify? I really hope this isn't what you meant, because it's a very silly position to take, that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Yotsuyu's fate and backstory were absolutely awful and tragic, and that's what made it good writing, because they transformed her from a one-dimensional monster of a villain into a woman who had deeply sympathetic reasons for doing the things that she did, even if they were still unquestionably evil deeds.

This is everything I could possibly want from male Viera, especially that hair! And I really hope when we get them, the racial gear is similar to this; if the ladies are comfortable wearing next to nothing to run around the jungle in, surely the males would share similar views on fashion...

There were other artist that another poster sourced for me.

I'm doubting they'll be as risque as the female but one can hope, I'd just be fine with them being added period but I do think it would mend fences if they were given the same treatment as the females.

Maybe, have a male viera parade organized on populated worlds maybe. Could even coordinate it with the JP community. An unofficial male viera day.
