What I would like for SAM is a lot of QoL changes, as well as some reworks regarding some abilities.
-AoE Rotation could use some slight tuning, I know we're getting rid of PT soon, but even with that, the cost of the AoE Rotation does look absurdly high even for the damage it deals. Maybe make it so that Tenka Gokken gives back some PT (or whatever's replacing that) for each enemy touched ? It would allow some more sustain.
-Make Meditate actually usefull more often. Maybe find a way to make it work without the server tick restriction. I do use it between two GCD during my opener, but because of the way it works with server ticks I'm not sure to gain Kenki everytime I use it. Or make it a 10sec buff that doesn't require to stand still and don't turn around, idk. This can become a really good ability if tuned correctly.
-Change the kenki given by Ageha. Currently, the 20 bonus kenki when delivering the killing blow is... really useless on most fight, since you'll only be hitting the boss no matter what. Imo making it's cooldown reset if your target dies within 3sec after using it could be a nice trade instead of the 20 bonus kenki. And would actually make peoples try to focus the adds more often. It's a decent ability but with a huge cooldown that isn't always justified imo, especially since the bonus it can give is somewhat useless on some fights.
-Make our dash-in and dash-out ability cost 5 Kenki instead of 10
This would make things so much better and would actually give us a reason to do the dash-out Enpi dash-in combo more often.
-Maybe make it so that Enpi doesn't break a combo when used ? I dunno, this is a weird idea tbh, but would make the spell less akward to use.
-If the crit meta keeps being relevant, then make it so that Kaiten increase the critical chances of the next weapon technique used. Currently there is a... huge gap between a Midare Setsugekka that crit and one that does not, because it is a high potency technique. Imo the way crit can be balanced is that you should be happy when an ability crit, and not sad when it doesn't. Currently a non-crit Midare is really... underwhelming for all the build up required to use it.
-An interesting thing to add would be a passive ability that reset the cooldown of Ageha each time it is triggered, and could allow Ageha to be used on a target affected by Higanbana, regardless of his remaining health... That would be neat.
Tbh I don't really see what else we could use. SAM is indeed a great damage dealer when played correctly, and I don't think that a raid buff or another kenki-spender ability is really required.
