I feel like more people care about the male viera more than the female hrothgar just based on how many times this gets pushed back compared to the always active male viera threads lol.

For mee it feels like this thread is just more orginized. XD And I didn't see any haters in this one at least.

Of course vieras have been requested for ages now but for a race thats was announce a week ago from basically no where this is great effort especially since it's still 2/3 likes of the viera thread.

I think the reason the male Viera thread is updated so much and kept on the front page as often, is only because that thread is a lot of arguing with people going in just to voice their opinions AGAINST male Viera.

And yet for some reason there doesn't seem to be as much a strong push back against the idea of female Hrothgar.

Well I can't say that there is so much arguing that it can explode the thread up to 200 pages. Still yes, there are some people who are strongly against and even some haters.

That's because most of the reasons people push back against male Viera don't exist for the Hrothgals. There's no lore from previous games prohibiting them (the opposite actually) and nobody's worried that they're going to bring some sort of gay furry apocalypse down upon our heads (at least not that I've seen).

ive seen more against male viera just because of the certain types of people who want them not so much of the males itself which is pretty sad.

Reminds me PW times ahah. I think if they will add females, they will have same features as males. So maybe wolf instead of fox?

I like gender locked races and I hope they stay this way. I'd like it if the Hrothgar adopted the FFXI lore that Galka had and be an asexual, reincarnating based race, because that was just such a cool concept for me at the time. Although I believe the lore for them is already out and it is nothing like this, but at least I could dream.

Good luck in your crusade, vocal minority, I hope you force the devs to do something frivolous instead of improve the game as a whole.
