There isn't a single thing, besides glamours, that they can't do in the game without being a male viera. So I'm hoping SE sticks to their guns and calls their bluff.
They could but there is also lost fantasia income and people who won't buy from the Mogstation due to unhappiness with the decision. It doesn't have to involve ragequits, necessarily. However, you do imply you care as to whether they're added or not by hoping that they stick to their guns and therefore do not add them.

I'm basically baiting for laughs from those who remember that he came in here telling us that Female Viera and Male Hrothgar should be scrapped for voicing male viera positivity along with calling us a minority that if we are 'pandered to' will spark the end of ffxiv like wow. It was for a chuckle, because anyone who has followed this thread knows that his claims have nothing to stand on.
I believe the angle Billy is coming at this from - and he can correct me if I err - is to do with a perceived bias against adding decent glamours and appearances catering to male characters. Personally I wouldn't necessarily impute this to sexism, but certainly there is an element of waifu-maker pandering in the game, however I think that's driven more by the fact that a majority of active characters is female - but not really great enough to justify cutting on designs that interest male character players.
