I really dislike this type of argument.

Culturally the west voices their opinion. Culturally Japan is far more polite and speak much more politely thus discourse doesn't often ensue.
We can call it whining, I call it voicing an opinion and as far as I know it's what the west is built upon. It is simply how the west chooses to get the message through like it or not.
I'm not going to go to Japan and tell them how they should voice their opinions.

The west's (NA & EU) active playerbase is comparable and greater than JPs. So I don't agree that you have the correct data to say such a thing as the west is a minority.

Voicing your opinion is one thing, but people don't voice their opinion reasonably and rationally. That's the point. And yes it is the minority at least the people crying out.

I think most are fine with how things are, but how am i supposed to know? Not even 10% of the playerbase uses the forums. I'm sure not even 10% use reddit, and anybody can go to the FF14 reddit and talk no SE account needed.

Until they do some official poll on the matter, we'll never know for sure.

I don't want to get into politics or anything, but the west is bad when it comes to voicing an opinion. Most of the time they resort to insults and violence.

And yes i am american myself, but i am not blind nor a fool to see how we act. We behave like children when we don't get what we want, or we feel wronged.
