While I'd agree with previously made statements that the amount of time ago CT appeared on the First isn't as important as simply knowing that it did, the nit-picker in me still believes that there isn't enough room in the censored English text to have space for a 3 digit number, and is thus most likely to be less than 100 years.

Yeh, assuming they didn't play tricks and just adjusted the text under the censored part as well, it looks like a double digit number. Hmm, what event a double digit number of years ago could be tied to this? The battle of silvertear skies?

If CT appearing is indeed tied to an event on our Source, then yes the Battle of Silvertear Skies would be a top contender simply due to the amount of aether it unleashed unto the realm. However, it could also be the case that the appearance if the tower is completely random.

Say something like 'Whoops I misjudged the energy and calculations needed in jumping back in time while simultaneously warping to a similar spot in another Shard and over shot it by a few decades'.

If CT appearing is indeed tied to an event on our Source, then yes the Battle of Silvertear Skies would be a top contender simply due to the amount of aether it unleashed unto the realm. However, it could also be the case that the appearance if the tower is completely random.

Or, depending on how far forward or back in time Enigma can see, it could have been to deliberately shape Crystarium's creation. We know that there's a prophecy about the Warrior of Darkness appearing to bring back the night, and the Tower's doors opening and the WoL striding out would be a great way to inspire people and hopefully ensure access to the resources the WoL would need to get the ball rolling. It would also create a free city for survivors of the Flood, since Eulmore is obviously rotten and the other regions are suffering.

Crystarium is in Lakeland, which looks like a de-calamitized Mor Dhona. I'd say the dots connect.

I know that, I'm only wary (is wary the right word to use here?) because we started off in the Fringes in Stormblood, and it is entirely possible that on our first trip to the First, something goes wrong and we end up outside of Crystarium in the middle of Lakeland. It could definitely be possible that G'raha is wanting us striding out of CT like we own the place, but things rarely go the plan (who am I kidding, they mostly do).
