Nothing will please everyone no matter what they add. Lots of people aren't pleased with Eureka and they keep adding to that.

I support devs' decision to make khajit race instead of another metrosexual race. Khajit is the best thing some other titles have. And now we can have them too.

I am not calling the devs sexist or homophobic but just a reminder that it took a lot of what some considered "whining" to get it unlocked. Maybe literal years since that question was asked at multiple Fan Fests and other events.

But they still did, what they wouldn't if they would be what these people claim.

It is simply fascinating people keep using this language. i.e. "It does not appeal to me so it is a waste."

Again I say, nearly each and every major patch is filled with features, QOL changes, and content that often appeal to a very specific and arguably small demographic. And again I ask, why is that okay but a race of player characters not? Your avatar is literally how you interact with the world around you and how others in that world see you. It seems pretty dang important. I understand they may not appeal to everyone, but what is the reasoning for being so vehemently against their addition?

"But it'll take away from XYZ?" Okay, but if they get the chance - whether it be through additional resources, shuffling goals around, or just straight up time - isn't that okay? I'm not advocating they drop everything and work on the missing genders now, tomorrow, or even in the near future, but what's wrong with "eventually"?

It's because I'd rather have my sub money spent on something like new actual content instead of wasting developers time on making new models and making sure old stuff doesn't break the new models.

If it was a new hair style or new skin color, then that's fine but something like a entire race is basically a life long commitment for the game since it will require more developer effort for every new piece of content.
