i don't see how they are different. budgets are used to hire people. there's a team in place, using the same budget but different people means firing people on the existing team. .

That's not how SE works at all. Tetsuya Nomura is on loan for Shadowbringers, when his main project is FF7-R. Employees are moved from project to project all the time. If they needed less people for new art assets, it would be fewer people needed to work on X project, not a number of people getting fired.

BLU is a side project, not really a valid comparison, BLU mechanics do not have to be balanced against the other casters. a new healer has to be balanced and incorporated into raid design

It's completely valid. That guy is the battle planner who was the lead on much of Stormblood's raid content. Given the resources and time, they could obviously create a new healer. Are you suggesting that it's somehow impossible?

Why should I include that point? It has nothing to do with what I'm saying. I accept that adding a new healer is difficult for the reasons Yoshi P stated.

So why devote resources/budget/time to two incomplete races? Jobs > races.

Because that point you're not adding in is the reason why we don't have a new healer says YP. So leaving it out makes you look either petty or misinformed. Either way thats why. We got no healer cause they want to fix the ones we have. may not be the -CORRECT- choice but they did explain it, and you didn't add that part in. Also what were you expecting on the races? I want to know, cause one of those interviews YP expressed why the viera's are female only right now.

there's not much difference between that. the difficulty of balancing them is the mess they have to deal with and he's kicking that can down the road.

It's not like you have to play the new races.

I get that you're really excited for Viera or Hrothgar or whatever, but stinting features and launching with half complete crap is why the Realm had to be Reborn in the first place.

Eh, genderlocking races might have been a factor but I wouldn't say it would be the reason why they had to redo the game from the ground up.

Dunno why you're confused my dude, the point is quite clear. One highly desired piece of content that will improve the gameplay experience, completed and finished, is more desirable than two half completed aesthetics.

Just because you think they aren't good enough, doesn't mean that they aren't. A lot of people are happy with the upcoming Viera/Ronso. Just because they aren't up to your "standards" doesn't mean they should be scrapped.

They're not going to cancel the addition of these races, but you're welcome to take a vacation from the game until they're developed to a point that meets your satisfaction. This is, of course, if you feel this passionate about hats that many just turn off anyway.
