    Rrothgar do feel kinda rushed and viera seem a bit out of place.Personally i dont think this its worth taking development resources/time from other parts of the game.A few more trials/dungeons,a better shb eureka* experience or whatever else the game is lacking would be a better place to spend those resources.

    Dunno why you're confused my dude, the point is quite clear. One highly desired piece of content that will improve the gameplay experience, completed and finished, is more desirable than two half completed aesthetics.

    Can't argue with his own words. He quite clearly stated that since they didn't implement the race(s) in the way he wanted, they shouldn't have made the new race(s) at all. Which is utterly ridiculous.
    I get that you're really excited for Viera or Hrothgar or whatever, but stinting features and launching with half complete crap is why the Realm had to be Reborn in the first place.

    That's certainly true, and yet we're not talking about committing the same people to a different project. We're talking about committing time and budget to one or the other. Only one person was responsible for the game mechanics of BLU in FFXIV and they worked that in between patches.

    The only thing that was the same was near the end when they did the same idle pose male roes do.

    Players, like the OP, need to read interviews a lot more carefully and not leap to conclusions. In no interview (that I read, and I think I read all of them), did Yoshi-P say, "We did not make male Viera because we didn't have time." He does provide a sound, logical explanation for why there are no male Vieras, but it's not because of time, cost cutting, or any other erroneous conclusions people are drawing because it suits their personal agendas.

    i don't see how they are different. budgets are used to hire people. there's a team in place, using the same budget but different people means firing people on the existing team.

    BLU is a side project, not really a valid comparison, BLU mechanics do not have to be balanced against the other casters. a new healer has to be balanced and incorporated into raid design.
