I support BOTH a Male Viera and Female Ronso 100%. Everything I've seen from this has helped send me further and further from being interested in Shadowbringers. Between BLU not being a main job, & it will never be on par with the others (A job I've always loved and was my main in FFXI) DNC being a DPS and not healer, no male Viera, and what looks to be time travel becoming part of the plot (Which always opens a can of worms) ... well this is the first final fantasy period I haven't pre-ordered as of yet. but hey we'll see, unlike 1.0 this group does take player feedback serious.

I would also love to see the opposite gendered counterparts come in but please don't pander to the "make the bunny boys hyper feminine anyway" train, because at that point they might as well roll a female Viera with a flat chest. I am totally for aggressive, muscular bunny men with varying types of ears if that's doable - even if it has to be patched in at a later date when resources allow for it and the staff have time/money/ideas. I am happy to wait but I don't think genderlocking a race goes down well with anyone in any game these days.

Not sure I personally like the design of the Hrothgar either (or the name but that's just because it seems lifted straight from Skyrim), if at all possible could we have them looking less like roegadyn and a little more identifiable as their own race? Or are they going to be introduced as a hybrid of two races, because that's what they seem to be at the moment. And of course if we could have some lovely shapely ladies (not skinny things) at a later date as well that would be awesome.

Thanks for all your hard work on the game Yoshi-P and team <3

I love how most of these posts have been "guys, we love you and what you do, but we want to voice out why this is no bueno". Warms my heart to see that it's the minority of the posts the ones that are rude or condescending.

So yeah: SQUEENIX, WE LOVE YOU! That's why we're here, making an effort and asking you respectfully to reconsider!

I'd like them to be a bit shorter then the females(Because male bunnies tend to be smaller), but not to the child-like level. Somewhat cute bunny bois would be nice.

Hear hear! Did you see the masculine-as-hell male Viera with a halfmask someone shared a bit back ago? Hot damn.

So what I'm getting from the latest interviews, is that Yoshida and FFXIV devs truly do not understand what we want and that genderlocking is an actual problem, and stereotypes are a problem... They're not doing this on purpose they're really just that narrow-minded. And here I thought they might have learned something over the years.. Oof.

We are not going to be time traveling, but dimensional travel between the shards of Hydaelyn. We are trying to bring balance to her shards into balance.

Although I agree the move is narrow-minded and sexist, calling them out on it aggressively isn't going to fix anything. We have to be respectful about it, expose our point of view and insist on having them see why this was NOT a right move. We can do this, I'm sure.

Do the thing, fellas. You have no reason not to do the thing except ... eh ... creative reasons, maybe?

If so, then you can create bunny bois, too. Super easy. :3

Thank you to Yoshi and the devs for listening to your fans so often. I hope the trend will continue when you read how many players really do want to see male viera as a playable race (myself included!) ♥
