They've already added male and female as biological sexes for the race. If you think that's "bigoted" nonsense, take it up with the devs.

You're asking me to summarize an article from nature (one of the world's leading academic journals and scientific news sources), that's already a summary of a very complex subject.
The article explains it clearly. That's why I linked that specific article. With nice real life examples (e.g. a guy who had kids, and also had a womb).

Why don't you just go to coursera and edx and learn biology instead of expecting a random person on a forum to teach you science?

No, rather, I was alluding to their rarity in the population. In FFXIV terms, they may well be non-existent. The game has defined every race added so far as male/female, including Viera and no doubt Hrothgar, too.
