Dear SE, I am a Healer

Despite the Part, that I am a really horrible Healer and because of that never played Healer outside of leveling them, I still feel bad for all the Healers who hoped for a new Healer Class.
2 more Years without any new Class to play with more and more DPS Jobs being added. I can understand how forgotten they can feel.

Honestly, we've come to accept it. I mean we're the only role the Warrior of Light in trailers has never been. He's never been a healer, but as been a tank and dps. But never a caster or a healer.

The reality is casters don't look good in cinematics very well as a protagonist. And healers even worse.

I feel Gun Blade can differentiate itself from the other tanks, I fear Dancer as a healer would have a very hard time being unique compared to Astrologian. As thematically Dancer was always a buffer, and that role within the healers is already taken. So, where would Dancer have been if it was a healer?

I'm disappointed in the lack of a new healer too.

I won't be unsubscribing though. I am really looking forward to the new abilities and playstyle I'll be adjusting to on SCH. If the 4.0 interview is correct SE said they had wanted to strip SCH from SMN as a whole. Which meant that it would be free of its constraints and be a whole new job altogether. Which could possibly mean more fairy or smns in the stance of SMN's eyes.

If that is the case I'm really interested in playing around with that as well as the "promise" to make WHM play easier. (I just haven't had any reason or willpower to level whm.)

Things like this will make me keep playing the game because I'm overall satisfied with the premise of going to the past. If it means maybe I'll see the green vast fields of grass in Coerthas again. I would shudder in excitement. Who knows what will come of it. Considering the "differences" we will experience from our own world.

Is this the end of Ff14 where we don’t get any more expansion? It seems people can not wait for their turn. Dancer being a healer is nonsense. Dancer in FF11 is similar to RDM and RDM now is a pure dps. Just wait for next expansion

A lack of new healer has one plus side: We're gonna see a crap ton of Healer Bonus Queues for leveling with them all going through leveling Gun Blade and Dancer.

The fact is asking dancer being a healer is you force youidea to others whe in entire FF franchise dancer has nothing to do with heal in any numbered FF title.

So healers must be deprived of any new job at all? What's even your point? that you must force EVERYTHING to be a dps if it isn't by some stretch a tank?

As a Tank main I dont plan on leaving DRK unless Gunbreaker is extremely amazing and plays better.

But it feels good to have a shiny new toy to play with and only had to wait 4 years for it.

Healers on the other hand have to wait over half a decade now.

Even if they didnt add a new tank. I wouldnt be mad, but I just hope DNC doesnt hurt MCH or lower the significance of its much needed rework.

Which puts pressure on the WHM rework to be pretty much perfect.

Like what new healing play style can be introduce? HoT healing? This style is either being useless or being Op by taking a look at history of WoW. How are they going to balance it? If madenit OP then it will permanently take of of healer slot

There are entire types of heals that either dont exist in the game yet or only exist as a one-off cooldown ability on one class.

Theres a list of 4 distinct healers with completely different mechanics posted on every other healer thread where someone asks "lol how would they be different!!!!11!!111!!!" (its on page 5)

Healers are one of the easiest types of classes to make in MMO space, because theres like 20 different ways you can make heals do things, and more ways you can make things do heals. Theres multiple ways you can make those different types work, as well (you can make multiple heal-over-time-only healers each have multiple unique ways of using heal over times, if you so wished).
