Yoshida stating they're making WHM easier?

This is kind of throwing me for a loop. Apparently in the live letter, Yoshida mentioned that they're making WHM easier to play....I.....can anyone confirm this?
This just sounds ridiculous, and it's even worse coming off of his statement that he wants to focus on healer balance in 5.0.

i think healers are fine its a cheap excuse cause 5.0 has no healer job Stormblood and Shadowbringers 2 huge expansion and still no healer job in 2 years is..............

I hope they're not saying this because they think the reason WHM is looked down on is because it's too hard for people. I really REALLY hope they're not this ignorant of the situation...

I hope so, too, but looking back at all the dumb stuff they did so far, I don't really have any hope left, and I want to shake some sense into anyone who tries to tell me to 'wait and see' over and over again...

When you see they don't want to release a new healer because of balancing issue (excuse), and the only thing we have is "make WHM easier", we can just be afraid of how they will handle the whole healer things.

I missed the other stuff after the opening keynote but if that statement is accurate... Yeah I think whm is one of the least interesting jobs in the game because it's already too simplified. It doesn't have many abilities that interact with each other so it's just sort of bland. It's OK I guess if there's some demand for a very plain job with no complexity, we have other options we can use.

So PLD is a 'tutorial/casual class' also, and we all should play a 'real' tank like WAR and DRK instead? Weird, PLD seems to be in a pretty good spot to me.
This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Just accept that people actually, you know, LIKE WHM for whatever reason, be it nostalgia or whatever. Stop taking your personal, unfounded hatred out on us.
I mean, did WHM hurt you or your mom or something that you hate it so much? lol.
