No glasses?! Goodbye.

Not that this will ever effect me (Though, it kind of suggests more that they're half-assing 2 races again and that if they focused entirely on one at a time this wouldn't be a problem)
I'm curious how this will work with some of the low level heavy armour. I.e. The chest pieces that prevent the use of head gear because the item is a fully enclosed chest + helmet (That doesn't care about the "Hide headgear" option because its chest gear not a head gear)
Will they have to make this an exception and allow these races to use it and have their bunny ears poke through the full face helm? Will they just go and edit all the models for these items and somehow remove the head gear portion for these specific races? Will they just lock them out of using this gear altogether? (Which would suck for newbies since some of the best gear at low level for Tanks is this type of equipment)
Also, I don't get the justification people are making about "Oh, they spent time creating detailed faces and don't want people to cover them up". Like, shouldn't it be up to the player if they want their character to have a full face helmet or if they want to show their face? Especially if they RP and care about things like, you know, wearing suitable armour before going into battle with demons, dragons, primals and all sorts of beasties?
How do Au Ra horns work with the trash can armours? It's possible they just replace the character model entirely in those cases.
I've always thought the pointed ear shapes sticking out of certain head gears/hoods when worn by elezen, lalafell, and miqo'te is pretty silly, and it's even worse when you see au ra have their horns just sticking out of holes in the head gear.
The current conception of head gears just aren't made for those types of "appendages" to the head. So I think having no head gear is the best option until I actually see a concept that makes sense.
Honestly give them time and they'll eventually work out how to make headgear show up in full for these races. Though the point does stand that with all these beastial things they're going to be letting us mess around with for both races, it seems silly to then throw on a helmet that will make you look like every other race. Just means a little glamour reworking will be in order (one of my current ones will work fine for example, but my healers will need an update.)

Well, guess this means I won't be switching to Viera.
