Howdy! I think this might only be my second appearance on these here forums (I'll be working on showing my face around here more, I promise!), but I come bearing some pretty good news

Along with the change to the new graphic engine in 2.0, we announced that it would be possible to change your character's appearance. After that we received a great deal of feedback requesting to be able to change race/gender, as well. After looking at all of the feedback we received, we have decided to allow a one-time change of the following when 2.0 arrives:

• Appearance
• Race/Clan
• Gender

Some of you may be wondering about the possibility of changing character names, since we're allowing the change for gender. Due to some data-related issues, we will continue to discuss and look into possibility of character name changes.

How about name? i don't think people want to walk around with a female char with a guy name.

I don't understand why you wrote numbers Bayohne. Is this some kind of psychological test or something? :S

Back on topic, as for re-rolling in 2.0, we are pretty much going back with full character creation with:

• Appearance
• Race/Clan
• Gender

I understand that changing name would be problematic as character data is most likely linked with our names and not some unique ID. Same for a character's home city-state, it's not possible to shift the completed story quests.
However, I was wondering if the character re-roll in 2.0 will also include the ability to change Guardian and nameday. As far as I know, it doesn't affect anything inside the game, it's just for the looks as of now. Will we be able to?

Beside tweaking a few small details on my character, changing Guardian is the thing I would like to do with 2.0 if possible. :S
