Revelations from Keynote III (2019)

First of all: I have to admit that I was seemingly wrong with keeping denying that hooded figure is G'raha Tia, even said that him crystallising has no basis or would make sense, but after the trailer: I admit my mistakes.

Don't apologize too strongly just yet. Even though his face in profile is an exact match as to what we can see, there's a little extra bump in the back of the robe where his stubby tail would be covered, and the Crystal Tower is definitely involved, we actually can't rule out a parallel world clone just yet. We can assume that there aren't generally parallel world clones running around, but if there's any Ascian involvement at all in preserving the lineage of Desch (or if Desch and/or G'raha's mysterious "father" was an Ascian), it's possible that our G'raha is/was simply one of many duplicates across the Shards.


Basically, we could all be right and wrong at once.

I think they hinted that there wasn't really a Crystal Tower on the First, following with a 'hmmm' and some silence. So I throw out the guess that it's actually the Crystal Tower of the Source and we use it as our 'ship' for inter-shard travel, bringing it there.

Crystallium looks like it was built around it over a period of time, so either G'raha did some stuff when he sealed himself inside the tower, or the Crystal Tower is actually an Ascian design that they've installed near the geographical equivalent of Silvertear on possibly every shard towards some end.
