First of all: I have to admit that I was seemingly wrong with keeping denying that hooded figure is G'raha Tia, even said that him crystallising has no basis or would make sense, but after the trailer: I admit my mistakes.

Then, with us going as Warriors of Darkness to stop the flood of light and the Crystal Tower, does anyone else think we get a bit too much FF III references/elements thrown in?

Being the First's version of Gridania/Ul'dah/Limsa or rather, what developed in their place on the First, I think that's a good thought. The places are said to be in the region Norvrandt, the last place not devoured by light, so I suppose Norvrandt = Eorzea of the First.
