Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

People who wanted male Viera got excited over their own ideas. They didn't know what SE was going to give them. Even if we got male Viera, it would probably just be a bulky bunny that people would complain about.

probably not if they were like the concept art even if they were not the femine or 16 year old elezen body type people would have liked for them to be there at least they would have gotten over it
but them not being there at all is just worse and wont get over it till they are added

Should flood this thread with Male Viera fan art, am with you not fair female viera only.

Gender lock races will only disrupt also divide the community and are bad for the long-term MMO lifetime.

It seemed like it'd be a slam dunk, they're the ones that can make the lore after all so they can decide that this iteration of male viera are able to be a race, but...

What a cop out. Dancer not being a healer I kind of expected and I mean it's best for the job to be in what they thought would support it's iteration the most, but it still hurts.

Genderlocking races is really lame Square. I'm super disappointed. Male Viera and Female Hrothgar need to be added as a priority.

Think they wanted an excuse to make a bestial race more than anything. Hrothgar/Ronso look neat though. Hard to say whether I'd ever change races for them but they'll at least be neat to see.

Then why not make bestial male viera? Or make bestial female Hrothgr? I mean female Ronso show up in FF10 and it just...doesn't make sense. I just don't get how they can say it's because of LORE and hope people accept it when we have female roe, male miqo'te, a CAR coming from FFXV, Ivalice built to work into the lore of FFXIV?

I’m not sure if this is a deal breaker for me but I really am so very disappointed that while many of the fan base requested a lifting of restrictions on race locked character creation items they decided to go the other way and gender lock not one but two races all with unique looks/hairstyles etc all locked. It’s like they read the many many many threads and went nah stuff you guys
