This was the main one, with very many upvotes, as well as the limited jobs are a bad idea thread with nearly 200.
Edit: Heres the limited Job thread http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...back-now/page1

Savage Completion Rate ~5%+ of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to savage"
Ultimate Completion Rate ~1% of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to the hardcore raiders"
Frontline/ Rival Wings/ Hidden Gorge Mount Aquisition ~0.05-1% of active players. Community: "Ugh PVP is so dead in this game, they should stop investing in it"
Blue Mage Morbol Mount Aquisition ~0.01% of active players. Community: "WoW bLuE mAgE iS sO fUn AnD aCtIvE i CaN't WaIt FoR mOrE lImItEd JoBs"

I honestly feel similarly. I simply lvlled to 50 did a couple levels to see how the Carnival was and then just completely dropped it. It was a depressing experience and I'm not going to touch BLU again, unless they decide to give it a proper treatment and let it be a job like all the rest.I haven't played in over a month now, mostly due to my disgust at how Blue Mage was implemented and not really feeling the desire to play the game while there's such a lack of hope there.
Checking back in, I'm glad to see people are still trying to create hope, but really disappointed at everyone who seems satisfied with allowing an iconic job to remain butchered so that they can have their jollies being so "weird" and "random" once (if at all), then shelving the job and dancing with joy around other's crushed dreams.
As it stands, I have no desire to come back for Shadowbringers.
They have time to fix this, even if the chances are slim, the foundations are there they just need to tweak a few things before it really dos become a mess. However, I have to agree with Zsplash again, if this is all that we can expect, then might as well not have had BLU at all imo.
I haven't pre-ordered Shadowbringers and as things stand now, I don't think I will do it in the future. This issue saddened me quite a bit, a shame.
But about Japan, yeah they did a thread to complain too (that I knew of but probably more), I remember some people talking about it with a link to the forums but I don't remember where, so we're not alone.

Oof, kinda stings that it was completely ignored while BA gets an instant response 27 pages in. I mean i get it Eureka is a higher priority but, still I'd like some sort of reaction to the negative feedback.http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...our-support%21

Its because a bunch of people levelled it to 50, so it was deemed successful and its not something that a quick hotfixes and adjustments can solve.

Unless you get someone who really REALLY enjoys Sastasha which isn't unlikely, BLU would be a boon to any leveling roulette group just for its ability to tear apart all sub-30 dungeons and post-30 once Rams Voice is acquired.I've played through everything BLU, now, minus the special achievements, and I honestly enjoyed the journey. I just don't feel like it was enough, that it did the classic and well-loved job the justice it deserved. There may be more to come in the future - I'd bet on it, in fact - but it will likely just be more of the same. More Carnivale puzzle fights, more spells, more solo level grinding.
However, I'd say that SE has painted themselves into a corner with the way the job is put together; reworking it to be a real job would simply be too time-consuming an effort. It'd need to be rebuilt practically from the ground up, as so many of its basic concepts just don't mesh well with a standard job. They don't WANT BLU's rampaging through Duty Finder Sastasha with thirty-odd abilities while their poor newbie party members are plunking away at their two-button rotation, for instance; the design decision to make any learned spell available from level 1 just won't fly on a normal job.
The devs had the chance to create a balanced job, but made a sideshow, instead. Honestly, I think it's too late to backtrack, now; the costs in development time would simply be too steep.
Nobody runs most roulettes because they enjoy them, they just want to get their tomes, exp, whayever and get out.
"It's just an alt, bro. I'm not owned. You didn't own me." ~Physic, probably while turning into a corncob.

tbh id prefer them just creating 24 man stuff via pf so they can do alliance raids and allow them 2 pvp outside that im fine with no roulette though i do wish i could msq with it
