The only way I could see it done is through a streaming service, just like they have RE7 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey running beautifully on Switch.
But it would likely be Japan only just like those games are.

That’s literally what I said in my post,Not nearly as powerful as the PS4 however, and we already are dealing with 'PS4 limitations' in that regard. The Switch isn't as much of a deadweight compared to the PS3, and for a handheld it's remarkably powerful and it finally has a decent corner on affordable memory cards to boot, but it is one none the less because it's one more shackle the developer's have to consider when designing their content.
eh just use the vita to stream or steam link XD to play on the go.
if Nintendo get the game I hope they get a decent port.
I think would be cool to have it on switch maybe just not this current switch because way too much underpowered, So many switch 2 who knows![]()
Funny enough back in the Game Cube days BMX XXX was uncensored on game cube but was censored on PS2... >.> So what console was for kids again? :P
I am sure either Nintendo missed it and one slid right passed them or they allowed it because Sony Ps2 was crushing them in the console wars and same goes for Xbox.
Plus I see your Nintendo comment about BMX and raise you GTA ps2.
Most people who complain about "console limitations" forget that game consoles are basically super specially made gaming computers that you can hook up to your TV...
PS3 limitations and XBOX360 limitations was only a thing because of Sony and Microsoft trying to cut corners, and extremely tech savvy people know way more about that topic, since anyone can do a quick google search for the information they are looking for...
Marvel VS. Capcom 2 was never released on Nintendo Wii due to "Wii Limitations", even though they could have made a physical copy of the game for Wii owners, but they didn't...
If Square-Enix decides that they want to exclusively make games for just Nintendo and Microsoft because Sony is costing Square-Enix more money by being forced to censor a lot of things, including their own paying customers, then Square-Enix would more than likely making a good business decisions by listening to paying customers...
I am one of those people who would rather drop $300 on a gaming console than drop somewhere between $1000-$2000 for a gaming computer/laptop...
I also do not support streaming games especially single player games as a live service, mostly because of how unstable it is, and there is no real way to preserve the legacy of said games if streaming games to consoles becomes a mainstream...
And if Square-Enix announces an offline single player version of FF14 with local multiplayer for Nintendo Switch or Xbox One, I can guarantee that people will buy those consoles just for the single player experience... Bonus points if they allow you to use those game consoles for crossplay for the online only crowd that are on PC and PS4...
Never going to happen. Period.
