To, of course, appease the people who'd complain they were discriminating against Mac even though any true Mac user knows the machines were built for work in mind, not play.

IMO looking at Apple's marketing strategy over the past 10 years or so I feel its more like Apple wants games made for Mac to help them sell computers to people that don't know about computers while charging an extra $500 for the Apple logo... >.>

On a side note I did buy Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon on switch and it had a fun surprise of Alpha as a usable buddy dressed in his Ironworks Uniform. :3

Probably feelings is my guess... but I want right to someone to confirm if Nintendo Switch is WAY more powerful than a PS3 and if it is possible for the Nintendo Switch to have more powerful version the console to where it puts Sony's PS4 Pro to shame...

Or at the very least someone from the dev team to announce something FF14 related for the Nintendo Switch, aside from the stock "there are no plans at this time" answer...

It's somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 times more powerful than a PS3, but the next issue is that the baseline PS4 is about 1.8 times stronger than the Switch. The Pro is about 2.7-2.8 times stronger than the baseline PS4.

As the game continues to evolve and grow the Switch would become an inhibitor. And what you're asking for Nintendo to do with the Switch is pointless, as it would entail a complete redesign of the console. They'd be better off just making a new console at that point.
